Sidekiq Mini PCIe and Sidekiq M.2 are breakthrough small form factor software-defined radios (SDRs) that make it possible to turn millions of host devices into RF processing systems. These tiny SDRs fit into standard mini PCIe and M.2 slots and are configurable over a PCIe interface, making it easy for you to add high performance, flexible RF transceivers to many off-the-shelf computing systems.

Sidekiq Mini PCIe – The Mini PCIe form factor with a PCIe Gen1.1 interface supports two RF front end operating modes: either two phase coherent receivers (common LO) or one receiver + one transmitter (separate LOs).

Sidekiq M.2 – This radically small SDR has an M.2 T3042-D3-B-M card form factor, supporting either Module Key B or Module Key B and M, Socket 2. It has a PCIe Gen2 interface and two options for RF front end: either two receivers + two transmitters (2×2 MIMO) or one receiver + one transmitter (separate LOs).

  • Sidekiq M.2 comes with 1 x 1 or 2 x 2 channel configuration
  • Typical power consumption is 2.1 W
